We remember being absolutely shocked the first time we read the report
on the state of sex ed in SC and found out that 75% of school districts fail to comply with our current sex education law.
Much of this problem could be solved with more transparency to what’s actually being taught in classrooms—which H.3435 calls for!
Action 5: Post this image to Senator Thurmond’s Facebook page and let him know parents deserve to know what’s taught in health education classrooms.
for the image to post and here
for Senator Thurmond’s page.
Letting education committee members like Senator Thurmond know SC voters are watching and demanding reforms bring us closer to passing meaningful legislation.
Thank you for being part of this process!
