#BeeDay2016 Overview

It's the final countdown; our annual lobby day is a week a way. Below you’ll find an overview of all your #BeeDay2016 options.

On March 16th you'll have a variety of diverse and dynamic tools to connect with your elected officials and a group of experienced and passionate advocates to walk you through each one!  Create your best #BeeDay2016 experience by selecting the advocacy path that works best for your schedule and comfort level.

  • Email your legislators,
  • Connect on social media with your legislators,
  • Write a letter to your legislators,
  • Call your legislators, and
  • Meet your legislators at the State House.

Make your way around the perimeter of the room and meet some of the most effective organizations around the state who support women, girls and their families.

On your advocacy journey, come stop by the Bee Day photo booth and snap a picture.

We’d love to hear the stories of advocates new and experienced! Swing by the video diary corner and share your story of how you felt exercising your advocacy muscles.  Your story could inspire the actions of another!

Finally, as you wind down, we encourage you to relax at a center table with a stress relief coloring page.  You deserve it.

The activities above will be available to you from 9am-3pm in the Marriott Columbia Capital III-IV rooms.  See the #BeeDay2016 event itinerary for information on attending our press conference, attending a group introduction in the House chamber, a group picture on theState House steps, and having lunch with legislators.

Together, our voices on advancing women’s health will  be heard.
