We work to improve reproductive health policy in South Carolina.

Dum Spiro, Spero

Dum Spiro, Spero. While I breathe, I hope.

To engage in the work of improving reproductive health in our state is the embodiment of South Carolina's optimistic and determined motto, Dum Spiro, Spero.  Together, we persistently employ hope and a spirit of determinism in our journey to advance the health, rights, and economic well-being of South Carolina's women, girls, and their families.

Come join us on June 9th, as we celebrate the end of this year's legislative session and the hard work of our organization and advocates like you.

Beginning at 6pm we will have a brief program where we look back on this legislative session, present awards to outstanding advocates, and hope and work together for a better South Carolina.  The following awards will be presented:

  • Senator Brad Hutto Outstanding Partnership Award: Melissa-Anne Cunningham-Sereque
  • Crescent Award: Kathryn Luchok
  • Palmetto Award: SC Equality
  • Legislative Champion Award: Senator Joel Lourie

Heavy hors d'oeuvres and wine and beer will be provided and free parking will be available in Cannon Garage located at 1227 Taylor Street at the corner of Taylor and Sumter streets. The garage features a pedestrian path that will lead you to our venue space.
