THINGS THAT MAKE ME MAD- ALL CAPS SO YOU CAN READ THIS IN MY ANGRY VOICE

South Carolina you’ve done it again. Something has come to my attention recently that infuriates me and needs to be YELLED about.

The sponsors of both Senate Bill 130 (SC 20 week abortion ban) and Senate Bill 129 (SC Personhood act to outlaw birth control), are all men.

For those who need some brushing up on their anatomy:

THINGS MEN HAVE:

                Penises

THINGS MEN DO NOT HAVE:

                Eggs

                The need for birth control

                The option to become pregnant

SO WHY ON EARTH are we allowing these men to dictate what laws are enacted that control the rights to something that does not affect them literally at all?

Seriously, why has no one shed light on this yet? This is a huge problem. It is this kind of male domination in women’s rights law that perpetuates female suppression AND creates the need for women’s rights at all. Am I the only one offended by this? That as a society, South Carolina, is allowing men to dictate women’s rights, especially in the case of reproductive health?

But I mean, I guess this was bound to happen with only 1 female Senator in the state of South Carolina. WHICH IS A PRESSING ISSUE IN ITSELF. Where is the women representation? This is pathetic and of serious concern.

Even if you are women who agrees with these bill proposals, how are you not offended on some level that men are running the show on something that does not affect them and specifically targets you?

I can’t be alone in these thoughts or in anger. Please tell your local lawmakers you won’t stand for the injustice of men putting limitations on women’s rights and access to healthcare.
